VivaRenta focuses exclusively on monthly rentals (1 month or more). Unlike Facebook groups, every listing is read by a person before it goes live, and owners can earn the Ownership checked badge by showing a government ID and proof of ownership - so renters know who they are dealing with. Unlike traditional portals, creating a listing is free and renters contact owners directly. Always view a property in person and avoid sending money before you have seen it and signed a contract.
Is VivaRenta free for renters?

Yes. Browsing listings, using the search, and contacting property owners is completely free for renters. There are no booking fees, service fees, or commissions on the renter side.
What areas does VivaRenta cover?

Are listings on VivaRenta verified?

Verification is optional. An owner can show a government-issued ID and proof of ownership to earn the Ownership checked badge, and an agency listing carries Professionally managed instead. A listing without a badge is simply a listing, and a person reads every listing before it goes live either way. Always view the property in person and send no money before you have seen it and signed a contract.
What does AMPI certification mean for a property agency?

AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios) is Mexico's national real estate professional association. An AMPI-certified agent or agency has passed an ethics and competency review and is bound by a professional code of conduct. AMPI-member agencies are identified on the listings they represent as an added layer of trust.
How long are typical leases in Puerto Vallarta?
