Unlike Facebook groups, listings are moderated and owners can earn a verified badge by submitting a government ID and property deed. Unlike Inmuebles24, the platform is free for owners and has no agency listings - only direct owner contacts.

Is VivaRenta free for renters? +

Answer

Yes. Browsing listings, using the search, and contacting property owners is completely free for renters. There are no booking fees, service fees, or commissions on the renter side.

VivaRenta currently covers Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco) and Riviera Nayarit - including Zona Romantica, Marina Vallarta, Conchas Chinas, Bucerias, Sayulita, and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Mexico City expansion is planned.

Owners can voluntarily verify their listings by submitting a government-issued ID and property deed (escritura). Verified listings display a green Verified badge and receive significantly more inquiries. Unverified listings are still allowed but clearly labeled.

AMPI (Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios) is Mexico's national real estate professional association. An AMPI-certified agent or agency has passed an ethics and competency review and is bound by a professional code of conduct. VivaRenta displays AMPI status on agency and agent profiles.
