Property tax bill

Recibo predial - the paper you're holding will say "predial."
What it looks like
Account number (cuenta) — a short reference number, usually near the top.
Cadastral key (clave catastral) — a longer number, usually with dashes.
Taxpayer name (contribuyente) — often your bank, this is normal.
Property location — this is your rental.

A separate "domicilio del contribuyente" address may also appear - that's a billing address, not the property.

How to get it

Pay or request a copy at your local tesoreria municipal, or download one from the municipal online portal.

A property tax clearance certificate (constancia de no adeudo predial) works too - same office, same portal.

One more document

Your tax bill is in the bank's name. That is normal - foreign owners in this area hold property through a bank trust. We need the trust deed, which names you.

How to get it

This document is usually filed with your notario or your bank's fiduciary department (the bank that holds the trust). If it's not on hand, you can save your progress here and come back once you've located it - there's no rush.
